Instructions
1. Create a 2-3 minute video explaining your favorite thing about your host country and its culture. If you have lived abroad in more than one country, please only select one.
2. Upload your video to YouTube (this may require you to set up a free account if you don’t have one already). Click here to create a YouTube account. The YouTube link generated for your video will allow us to view your video.
3. Go to www.expatyouthscholarship.com and click “Submit an Entry” under About the EYS. Complete the form and be sure to include the YouTube link to your video in the designated space.
4. Sign up for e-mail updates, join the EYS fan page and stay tuned for the award announcement on Sept. 12!
Entry Requirements
1. Videos must be 2-3 minutes long
2. You must upload your video to YouTube and provide the correct link in the designated field on the online application. Recommended file types: MP4, mov, mpeg, mpg, wmv
3. All fields in the online application must be complete or the entry will be disqualified.
4. Review and electronically sign a release at the end of the online entry form to allow use of your video.
5. Entries must be in English.
The scholarship deadline is Friday, May 13, 2011 at 11:59 p.m. EST (U.S.).
